Suzoka and Darkmoon13 kinda gave me the idea to try an anime review thread. So here you can post reviews of other Anime and links to reviews of other Anime. I'll post one here soon. You can also request reviews of anime's your thinking of trying out, or just want a review for. I might also do the same for manga as well.

Oh yes, possibly best to post in a different colour if your posting a review request or commenting on reviews and links and that.

yup! another BL anime! Laughing

this is a new anime which was released this year, april 2006.
It is a OVA which has two episodes and is based from a BL game.

intro:
In a country called Winfield, only the royal family posses great pure white wings. But then strange people having black wings attacked the royal family and soon took over the kingdom.

Enter Shou Hamura, a transfery student in a boys private school. There he meets Kai, who he believes that kai is his long lost twin brother, but Kai denies him of his words. After meeting old friend and making new once, strange things seems to occure to thier school. Why are this thing happening? Why are the people who they trusted the most are turning against them? Who are the people behind this mysteries? and is Kai really Shou's twin brother?

review:
I say this anime has great animation and music.
The character design is awesome.
only problem is............ the story is really confusing and the ending is really bad.
The story is not really clear enough, they left out way to much about what's really happening and the ending just suck big time! and if you really want to know the complete story then you have to play the game (okay, the anime is all about promoting the game, which really suck Mad

)
but I would really recomend this anime for those people who really love to watch bishounens, like myself Laughing

Angel's feather has lots of them. As I already said this is a BL or shounen-ai anime so be sure to expect it. Wink

Haha, knew I could count on a review from Suzoka. I looked it up on google images and it looks very pretty. I don't think it's something I would buy, maybe download to watch when I was bored

@coco, yeah it's really not worth buying (you can watch it on www.youtube.com) but it's worth watching.... so many pretty bishies Embarassed

sorry if it's all shounen-ai currently I only watch shounen-ai. XD

(Honoo no Mirage)

Genre: Historical, action, supernatural, and shuonen-ai

Is a story involving the fuedal era, where each war lord continues thier unending battle for superiority even to the modern era. These war Lords and some that are loyal to them are possesors who have the ability to enter a body of a living human and steal their body by driving out the soul. Possesors also have the ability to perform magic and call apon dities to aid them in their battle. Enter Takaya, Ohgi, a high school student who notices changes in his best (only) friend, Yuzuru Narita. After that he meets a man, Nabutsuna Naoe which is a possesor from the Uesugi clan, and feels something strange about him. Naoe explains to Takaya that he is not who he think he is and that he is a war Lord of the Uesugi clan, Kagetora. Now the feudal Lords are making their move to take over the modern era and it is up to them and those that are loyal to Kagetora to stop and exocise the war lords.

review:
the intro is kinda confusing right? well the story is kinda confussing too. for once you have to listen to a long explination about what had happened during the fuedal era. I haven't finish watching it out of the 13 episodes I was only able to watch until episode 6 (youtube has only 6 episode but you can download the anime in www.aarinfantasy.com, unfortunately I cannot download more than 100 mb) but so far I like what I see, we'll not much shounen-ai you only get to see it pass episode 7 (ahh soo cruel and I was waiting for it too Confused

) and the pairing is not who you would expect when you watch the first few episode also the relationship between the main characters is very complicated (well this is what I like about this anime totally unexpected and complicated relationship betweent the main characters kinda like YnM) and the ending is not what you would expect (I only have glimps of the ending Sad

so sad) also Mirage of Blaze also has a 3 part OVA (Rebels of the River Edge) which is a must watch! (I finally get to see some shounen-ai Very Happy

). oh and the music is great too!

I haven't watched the series, but I HAVE watched the OVA, and it was beautiful!! I recommend it to anyone. Though the ending wasn't a very happy one. Thanks for the reviews Suzoka.
