Seriously, I'm not against Christianity, I'm against it's radicals. You know, Pat Robertson, Mr. "I Want to Assassinate the King of Sweeden" Fred Phelps, George W. Bush, those people.

Who else is sick of the people that make this faith look horrible?

Honestly, I thought Jesus's main message was to love and forgive and accept people. I didn't know it was that all homosexuals were evil and will burn in hell. Oh, and it's not just the homosexuals? Did you know that Ghandi is in hell? Yes, no matter how GOOD of a person you are, if you don't accept the body of Christ that comes in store-processed packages you can buy at Lo-Bills, you're gonna burn with your good man Satan!

Also, these people are the kings of bullshit. Against homosexuality, they state that all of the sex they have is "painful" and causes diseases of all sorts (these people obviously haven't heard of lube and being careful). They even go so far as to claim that gay partners are more likely to cheat than straight partners, and that there's a higher abuse rate in children adopted by homosexual parents.

I'm not bullshitting. This is their main sight.

From how women lead men on in lustful desires and rape by wearing tight an immodest clothing (I don't want these people to become judges), how going to a party, EVEN IF YOU DON'T DRINK, is a sin, how Buddhists, Islams, Jews, Muslims, Wiccans, and other beliefs are all the wrong word of God, why men BELONG AT THE HEAD OF THE HOUSE!!!1 (give me a break...), and other things. My favorites are why you shoudn't date anyone that "Isn't Christian" (seriously, these people...) because they will DESTROY YOUR FAITH, and how women are responsible for the desires of men, not the men themselves.

Do a search on any of these topics. You'll be surprised and saddened.

I'm only making this post because all of you seem like smart, open-minded people (you're in a shonen-ai fandom for heaven's sake). Personally, I'm tired of these Fundies desecrating the true Christian faith that is based around love and kindness and forgiveness.

Yup. I find that wrong that they are going against what they are preaching essentially. I especially don't like that stuff aobut homosexuals. I mean it's not you who's doing it so why bother them. And people will cheat whether they are bi straight or gay. i have personal experience on straight guys cheating. These types of people will twist the things they say to do what they want. I mean it's okay if they want to practice their religion and all that but they shouldn't force others to it. but i guess everyone has their radicals.

a friend of mine actually quoted the passage about homosexuality. their blood shal be on their heads. how exactly does that translate into going to hell? sounds more of a living thing rather than spiritual.
