Hello, dearests, I'm back in the Counselling thread again^^;; I thought all of my big troubles were gone, but I seem to have some new ones which are kinda wearing me down. I really just need some advice on how to get to sleep.
You see, I'm an insomniac and I often have a hard time getting to sleep. I don't know why, but I can't. Do you have any ideas?
BTW, warm milk doesn't work. I'm lactose intolerant^^;;

Try eating something warm before you go to bed. That always works with me. :3 _________________

Well, like I said, it works for me. :3 But... it's a bad habit if you don't watch out and you could gain some weight... >.> That's what my mum told me.

oO how the hell did i miss this?!
i count. example: i randomly choose a number between 1 and 9 and skip that number while counting up to 100. i choose 7 so
60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 68, 69, 80
i'm so buisy concentrating on the numbers in my head so i don't screw up that i fall asleep rather quickly and don't even realize it. or sometimes if that doesn't work the first time i start at 1 and skip numbers up the ladder from there. and when i get really desperate i count up to 100 and backward.
-_- and if i'm really really desperate i take out a pen and paper and write as many numbers on the paper as i can starting from one until i can't keep my eyes open. _________________

Tea. A good chamomile tea, or sth of the sort. Gets you sleeping. Warm, soothing for throat, and works like a charm. Or you can try ginseng tea, or plum teas. Or boil dried barley and corn to make some good soothing tea, too. ^^ _________________ ♥ ☆ ♥ ☆ J ☆ I ☆ H ☆ Y ☆ E ☆ ♥ ☆ ♥
