I'm a Gundam Wing Fan as well as a Yami no fan and I've been wondering if anyone else is too. If you are a fan of any gundam show, could you tell me? Thnx. Just wondering.

I know Gudam wing would be a favourite anime of mine if I'd gotten a chance to watch it. It come on here, but the only chances I got to see it was when I was at my friends house, and she used to drag me away to her room for girlish talk while the boys sat in the living room watching it to their hearts content. I only got tiny peeks.

I just bought the second half of the series on DVD and am now looking for the first half and the Endless Waltz. I'm so sorry that you weren't able to watch it! Hey, maybe if I can find a way to get it onto my computer, I can send it to you or something. (of course, I'm so dumb that I can't figure it out...)
Anyway, I really wish you'd seen it! I'm half in love with the main characters (yes, that has an 's') but I also love the huge gundams. I used to have dreams about riding in them to get to school and then asking the teachers where I could park it ^_^ Laughing

i think gundam is okay not really into it i saw glimpses of the different gundams. i saw gundam 0080 i think its called and the one where its in CG and theres a kid who helps them. it was kind of like transformers in that the gundams were alive. forgot the name though.

I have some time to waste, so I figured I'd be random and give character descriptions. Most of the information I have is from my gundam wing technical manual, but I'll mark the things that are only rumors.

black=everything I get from the technical manual will be written in black
darkblue=everything in blue is a rumor that I have heard or read

We'll start with Heero Yuy

The gundam pilot who assumed the name of the colonies' late hero. He was picked the agent of destruction because of his youth, his physical prowess, and his strong will.He mainly pilots the Wing Gundam and the Wing Zero.

Eyes/Hair:Prussian Blue/Dark Brown
I have heard from many people and places that his true name is Owdin Lowe Jr. and that he is the son of the man who assasinated the original Heero Yuy.

Duo Maxwell

Pilot of the Gundam Deathscythe and Deathscythe Hell. He was raised as a warrior for the scavenger organization called "Sweeper Group" near the vicinity of the L2 colony. He's optimistic (perhapse overly so), and people like him because of his cheerful, sociable nature.

Nationality: American descent
Age: 15
Height/Weight: 156cm/43kg
Eyes/Hair: Cobalt Blue/Brown
There's a lot to say about him. It's rumored that his true name is Maxwell Church. It is said that he changed his name when his childhood friend, Solo, died because of one of two reasons. Either the church where they lived came under attack, or he died of a disease. It's also said that Maxwell was the name of the church where he lived when he was young. I've heard stories of him talking to the pastor of the church. The pastor asks him if he believes in god, and he replies that he doesn't, he only believes in the god of death. When the pastor asks him why, he says (mind you that he's a small child then) that he's never seen any acts from this wonderful god the man is always preaching about. But he's seen plenty of death, so he'll believe in the god of death. Thus his constant rambling about being "shinigami".

Trowa Barton

Pilot of Gundam Heavyarms. His exact origins are unknown, but he is presumed to be from colony L3. Even his name may not be real. He has great reflexes and nerves of steel - perhapse why he makes a good circus acrobat as well as a gundam pilot. At one point, his mind is damaged by Wing Gundam Zero's system, but he recovers and returns to join the battle.

Nationality: unknown but it's rumored that he's hispanic
Age: 15
Height/Weight: 160cm/44kg
Eyes/Hair:Dark Green/Light brown
There's quite a bit to say about Trowa as well. In the show, Catherine Bloom (who will be described later) tells him after his mind is damaged that she is his sister. I've heard that it's true and she really is his sister. According to story, they were separated when their parents died in a car crash (trowa was three and Catherine was five or so). I have yet to test the theory, but it's said that there's a scar on his back from the crash and Catherine sees it and asks about it. Trowa says he can't remember how he got it because it's been there for so long. His true name is said to be Triton Bloom. How he got the name Trowa is explained in Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, but I won't get into it now.
I've recieved word that he could also be from Cuba.... gawd... the ones who are mysterious need to sit down for interviews >.<

Quatre Reberba Winner

The pilot of Gundam Sandrock. He is the 30th child, only son, and heir to the wealthy winner family, an arab family that hails fro colony L4. He controls his family's soldiers, the Maganac Corps. Despite being a Gundam pilot, he is a staunch supporter of pacifism and has great moral difficulty justifying the violence needed to bring peace.

Nationality: Arabic
Age: 15
Height/Weight: 156cm/41kg
Eyes/Hair: Blue/Blond
Most things are known about Quatre, but I did hear that his father told him he was a test tube baby, rather than one naturally born(though he actually was born just like all 29 of his sisters were). This creats confusion in his mind and maked him wonder about his reason for life. His mother died giving birth to him.

Wufei Chang

The pilot for Shenlong Gundam and Altron Gundam who comes from Colony L5. Wufei has his own concept of justice and it guides him in all that he does. Those that he sees as enemies, he attacks without mercy. He is the descendant of an ancient warrior clan and has a warrior name. He feels he cannot rely on anyone else, so he prefurs to work alone, trusting only in his Gundam, which he calls "Nataku", after a legendary Chinese heroine.

Nationality: Chinese
Age: 15
Height/Weight: 156cm/46kg
Eyes/Hair: Onyx/Black
I nearly died when I read somewhere that Wufei had been married at one point. Anyone who's seen him knows that he thinks all women are weak. From what I've heard, he used to spend all of his time with his nose in the books and wore glasses. But his wife was a fighter who once challenged him. He won in the fight against her and she died not too long after. He beat himself up for it and for some reason conformed himself to fighting. I've heard that his wife's name was Nataku, but that's all probably just some big rumor.
