I like her. Angel Sanctuary put me in a totally new view of how the heavenly host's philosophies work out. And it really did make me cry over the past pages. T__T;;

Kafka, Count Cain, Godchild. Kaori Yuki tells all those gothic manga stories SO WELL, with such style, and amazing detail and artwork.

Any other fans? :D

Eeee! I love Kaori Yuki! She's such a fantastic artist and storyteller. I haven't completed the Angel Sanctuary yet, but I will. I'm also reading Godchild. I agree that she has a way with telling gothic stories. They're so beautiful but horrific at the same time. Someone once said that her work was like Shakespeare with pictures and I have to say that I agree.

*grins* Absolutely. The way Shakespeare portrays human emotion through tragedy is the thing that I adore about Kaori Yuki, too. She is an amazing storyteller. 8D

I've been dabbling in religious texts since forever. The Epic of Gilgamesh, Ramayana, Rig Veda, the Koran, Sefir Raziel Hammalach (I think. Damn spelling. 8D;), the Bible, etc. etc. But Angel Sanctuary let me think about the philosophies in most of the above texts, and even let me discover ABOUT the host itself. I've finished the entire series, so I guess I'll have to wait until you finish it to start spazfesting. 8D;

It'll be cool to have a discussion of her work. When I return to the U.S. I'll finish the series.
