| I visited Kamakura today and while I was there I started to think about why Muraki was there. What kind of purpose did he have for going to an ancient sumerai town? I think he must of had a reason for going over there. Anyway, I thought I would toss the question in the air and see what kind of speculations anyone might have. |

That's most defintely interesting. I have abosulutely no clue seeing as I'm only as far as volume 11, I haven't checked to see if volume 12 is out, and I refuse to even peek at Theia's translations. _________________

Volume twelve isn't out, and it's unlikely to be out for a good, long while, if at all, as the series is on hiatus.
What Muraki was doing in Kamakura... that's a very good question. I wouldn't put it past him to suddenly decide to take a trip to some random place just because he can. It would be proof of his freedom and control over his life. Kamakura may have just been where he ended up.
