Never Let Me Go

When I was alone I couldn't dream
I couldn't even imagine that a person like you
would ever come along.
I remember crying, sleepless nights
bringing pain to my heart and tears
to my eyes.
It's the feeling of falling from a tall cliff
with millions of people watching and laughing,
but none reaching out to offer a hand.
But then there was you, holding me up
when I thought there was nobody left.
I want to cry to you, to hold you forever and
absorb the warmth you've offered.
Rescue me from the bloody nightmares that
prevent my sleep and scar my dreams.
If you help me, I swear that I will be with you forever.
If you love me, I will do anything for you.
All I ask is that you stay with me untill the wounds
can heal and my heart starts beating again.
Please....

Very beautiful, I got more into it as it got closer to the end, and it almost felt like a heartfelt song, I could almost hear it playing in a yearning Tsusoka scene. Enjoyed this very much, thanks for sharing.

I'm glad you liked it. I was afraid that nobody liked it because I wasn't getting any feedback on it. I sort of thought it up out of a dream. It was strange. I woke up one morning after dreaming about my past and just HAD to write it down. It came from my heart because I remember feeling that way.

Aww it really does sound like Hisoka speaking. And I can totally see him playing the 'I'm ditching sleep' game in order to avoid his nightmares..

I'm thinking about writing more of my poems on here.

Unfortunately, most of them are depressing and dark

I tend to write rather goth poems

I'm so glad so many people like it^^ I thought it was kinda dumb at first, but wrote it anyway. Have you read my newest one? "Heartfelt lie (White Lies)" It's just as dumb as the first, so it should be okay^^
