Which do you prefer in Yami no Matsuei, sub or dub??

Hands down for me-sub.

The dub kind of disturbed me. Really disturbed me, I'm thinking Muraki and Sagantaanus in particular, they scared me in the dub. I think that Tsuzuki's voice wasn't actually bad, it just wasn't played all that well.

subs all the way...until i learn jap and can watch raw
dubs somehow spoils the whole atmosphere for me, have not found any anime with dubs that i like.

I usually prefers subs but always try to give dubs a chance. I think it's just a matter of hearing as well, when I first saw anime it was dubbed and so because I never heard subs I never thought anything of it, when I started hearing subs, I thought dubs were the devil. But in actuality most subs ARE waaay better then dubs. I think Perfect Blue was a dub that was done better then the actual sub, though the song at the start sounded better in japanese.

Maria's mother in YnM wasn't bad. Tatsumi's voice needed to be a little mre mature. The overall dub was terrible though. I mean what was going on with Watari @__@

I dunno. I have a love/hate relashionship with both casts really

I adore Hisoka's english voice though <33 Can't stand the Japanese version just because 'Soka's so obviously voiced by a girl. Normally I don't have a problem with it (as it's so hard to find boys of that age, or who sound that age who can act well), but dude! Come on! He's not /that/ girly! At least give him a chick with an alto range! Seriously! DD:

(And I love both of Watari's, despite some.. really.. bad moments in the English--"pLATiNUM BlOONDE HAAAAiiiR!!?" XD)

Muraki in the English version.. he has moments where it's like, OMFG SPOT ON!! And then others.. where .. I want to cry XD

I like both. sometimes it's funny to hear the rediculous way americans translate things, as long as you've got the dubbed version right there to go by so you know what's actually being said. so....I like both^^ I guess it comes with being bi^^

it depends really. some are okay dub and some are okay sub. and sometimes it just depends on what i get used to. if i see it in dub first and then in sub it sounds weird to me and vice versa.
