XD if it's possible to be in love with a series, Utena would be as close as it gets next to Yami no Matsuei.

but what happened to the manga Question

Has anyone else seen it, or does anyone know why it was taken off the us shelves after only three volumes?

I've not gotten a chance to see the series as of yet but it's something i'm trying to save some money to buy the whole thing all at once.

LOL anyone else here in love with Utena herself? *dies* she's a cute copy of Haruka with those electric blue eyes and...and...SHE MADE ME LIKE SOME FORMS OF PINK! ^^; okay i adsmit it, i'm listening to the sound track...

I've only seen like 3/4 volumes on the shelves where I live. I'd LOVE to watch it, it looks very artistic and beautiful. But there's no vid's I've seen here for it, and then there's the money *pout*. But I would really love to watch it as I know some of what it's about already.

Utena is my favorite anime ever. I just adore it.

I was buying the manga for a while, but I stopped, as I really don't care for it. It's so bland compared to the anime.

I think the only way I'll see it, is by buying off the net. *hates buying stuff off the net*

I wish they'd show it here. Is it on Youtube? I could watch it on that if I ever get my computer working.

You could probably find it on youtube. It might take a while to find all the right episodes even if they're there, since the series is long (39 episodes). Or you could check out the lj community anime_downloads. They might have it.

XDDDDDDDD i almost lost all composure in the book store reading that. oO see when she was little, she found out her parents were dead and (accidently?) fell into a river but when she was underwater a beautiful prince saved her and gently licked her cheek and that gave her the strength she needed to climb out. since then she's decided that she wants to be a prince one day.

hehe funny enough, i love anthy/utena as a pairing but i can't stand Anthy. T_T from what i've seen on the amvs on your tube she's an evil evil back stabbing biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch! *sniffles* poor Utena!

The manga is inferior to the anime by a long shot. I don't really reccomend it.

I adore Anthy. She's twisted, and hurt, and brilliant, and beautiful, and complex, and cruel, and kind, and.... Oh I love her. She's my favorite anime character of all time.
