Other than Yami no Matsuei I'm only watching Fruits Baskets and Utena now, and that's on the rewatch. Can't really afford to be getting into anything else which is why I wanna know what you're watching.

For me there's just something so irresistably sweet about Furuba and the well defined insanity that is it's characters.....not to mention the seemingly cheerful storyline that hides what is probably the most wistful and depressing series I've ever come in contact with-bloody hell......that makes it so special. And Akito, since I just want to slap and hug him/her at the same time. But I'll probably just post my thoughts on that in the furuba topic in this forum.

And keeping with Shojo, Utena has caught me as well, there's nothing more refreashing than sex, symbolic sex, incestrous sex, innuedo to sex, gay sex, desire for gay sex, sex-sex, andkbsjdbskjfb sex and bksexsxsex, and hur?? Oh right-uh....sorry got a bit off track there, what was I saying-oh right-yes, I watch Utena for the deep and meaningful storylines, as well as the sexy-I mean well developed characters.

And Anthy, cos she rules! ^__^

What are you currently watching at the moment!!!?

Oh I've watched the OVA for Mirage of Blaze and was saddened out of my mind, the male leads have some tangled relationship. Saying that my focus was completely on the hetero pairing in the story since they pretty much stole the show. Are you watching the series, is it worth watching?

There are Death Noteskits in the everything else forum, the second and last one under the heading a mixture of what I found which I thought were quite fun.

I mean I remember being in a terrible place a few years ago, and picking up Death Note, never did I imagine that I'd see it get turned into an anime so fast, not to mention gain a fanbase so quickly, I never finished reading it and I'm not sure if I was close to the end or not. I might try to finish it off and then check out the series. I've seen the intro and fell head over heels in love with the song. And since I've always seen the anime first then manga scans/later or not at all of any anime I watch it'd be interesting to see the characters animated and talking and such on screen. Especially L since I used to like he's character a lot when I first read it. What's your take on it? Is it worth watching?

I'm watching "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei". It's REALLY funny- our school's anime club.. we're thinking about doing a fandubbing for it. we have somebody who sounds exactly like what Mr. Despair would sound like in English- so we think. XD

That show is awesome!  I got into it when I was living in Japan.  It's really funny and everyone should definitely watch it.

Coco, you should definitely watch Mirage of Blaze.  The intense love-hate relationship between Naoe and Takaya is just so fascinating.  I'm currently reading the novel translations on lj. The anime doesn't even begin to uncover just how obsessed Takaya and Naoe are with each other.

At first I didn't have much desire to watch or read Death Note, but Cartoon Network started to air it so I decided to give it a chance and I'm really glad that I did.  Light is a bored spoiled brat who thinks he can become God by killing off criminals and I can't help but find him fascinating.  As for L, I really like him.  He's pretty odd and at the same time he and Light are so much alike.  I already know what happens, but I'm still enjoying the show immensely.  This is a series worth watching.

Thanks for that, I'll try to finish off where I got in the book-since I THINK I was near the end, and then jump onto the anime. I should get an AMV or something too I think maybe.

Hey Jani_chan so what's Kyou Kara Maou, I've seen the title about but I don't know what it is.

Kyo Kara Maou is about a Japanese boy who is wisked away (through a toilet) to another world where he is to become king. It's difficult to describe, but I'll see what I can do.... in another topic :p
