What is it exactly that you love about Yami no Matsuei??
I love the atmosphere, I love how shifting shades and background hums and heart beats can tell you more about a moment than words ever could in this show. Especially in Nagasaki, the textures and layers of atmosphere are ridiculous at the start of this- more specifically when the good doctor shows himself. I love when he's talking about Tsuzuki's body to the hapless Shimigami and you get that weird drum and that sunset tinged surrounding. Or when they stare at eachother on their "date", and the wind blows and everything around them is set in an almost misty white.
I love it!!
Go on!! Anything you like, what do you love about YnM! I've got tons more to squeel about! _________________

Wow... It's actually taking me a moment to think of something. Ouch. Er....
It was pretty awesome just to see them all animated and alive after reading the manga. It's always a pleasant rush when you see characters you're used to being on paper come to life through great and detailed animation.
Since I've become a big fan of the TatsumixWatari pairing from this series, I haven't had much interest in the anime for a long time. O_O Whoops.
Ah! (Thought of something else.) I enjoyed seeing Tsuzuki nude in the anime. Very nice. _________________

What can I say? I enjoy having so many bisho all together to toy with and .... *ahem*
I love the intricate storylines and how everyone has a history and past to be told, as though they're really peple who lived out their lives at different times. Well... all except for Watari, but I've heard some things from Rhea that I'm curious to know about..... |

*grins* I was drawn into YnM at first because of a portrait my friend had done- it's on the wiki article of YnM, the picture of Tsusoka entwined with a red ribbon and sakura petals. Lovely work.
And then.. well. It just went downhill, from thereon. Or uphill, depending on the slash-happiness within you? 8D;;
but what I think I like most about YnM are the depth of characters. Some anime shows are screwball comedies, or romantic ones, or drama, angst, etc. But YnM has a combination of intrigue and magic, with characters that are so defined it almost hurts to see them emo, man.
And not to mention, the total lack of pairings. I just happen to LIKE Tsusoka and TaTari, because they suit my tastes- but Rikugo and Seiryuu, I don't mind too much either. >DD There are so many different characters and such a vast universe. ^^
