a little nothing from listening to Gackt nonstop. Especially the theme song from Texhnolyze, a rather excellent anime.. ><;;

it does require a bit of twisted, shallow thinking. Or rather, shallow in terms of childhood simplicity- but do try and think like.. Oh, like me. XD;;

Tsuki no Uta

I want to fly.

Flying, I know, can be done by humans, using their inferior 'airplanes', and 'technology'. Flying is natural to birds, to shinigami, by the power 'blessed' to us by the God of Death, Enma.

This is not the flying I want.

I want to fly, with my soul, my mind, fly at the speed of light, beyond what the human, demon, shinigami, and godlike eyes can see; I want to fly without any restrictions of a body, of a power, of a soul.

At the speed of light, beyond the eyes, away from what I have here.

Even if flying means running away, I'll still fly; I got used to running away.

Will I filter through other things, like a spirit? A ghost, like the ones I exorcise?

I don't want to fly through things- I'll miss the hands to hold, the hugs I feel, and I'll pass through the people I know without them knowing.

Does flying mean that I will be ignored? If so, that's worse than being shinigami- they still know us. As gods of death, hounds of Enma, whatever you'd call us, we're still known.

Is it that I want to fly away from?

Fly away... Fly away love..

I want to fly. Fly away, far, far away.

That's a nice piece of work, the voice came through really strongly, I actually heard it distantly in my head, and a good sense of flow too. I like how it questions itself and comes that wistful conclusion at the end.
