Closet Pairings "shhhhhh"Come on, I know you all have one, I've seen many people writing theres around the interenet in their tiny text, together so it's difficult to read, with that strange line crossed through, among and in the many fandoms, from YuffiexSephiroth to YukixHana, I saw on a website today, a girl with her WakabaxMuraki crossed out.You guessed it. Closet Pairings. So stepping into the world of Yami no Matsuei. Out with it. No judging here please also, I simply want to know your secret pairings, don't worry, I won't tell anyone besides the entire forum. Promise. ^_~ Anyway, what's your closet pairing, I probably have a few. Hi my name is coco *insert depressing out of sync chorous of "hiiiii cocoooo" here* I've liked HisokaxTsubaki for awhile now, *bites lip* it's, how should I say, bittersweet. *scrunches eyes and waits for the stones* And I also *hangs head* have a strange love for HisokaxTatsumi. No it is not the YnM chatroom fic T_T I dunno, I like how Hisoka looks up to Tatsumi or looks to Tatsumi in such a sweet way. The smallest words from the man and it seems enough to get Hisoka going. A small speech from Tatsumi in Kyoto was all it took and everything came back to him, it was like Hisoka was on a high or something, from start to finish, running up and down, crying out, sword fights and flames, *shurgs and shuffles feet* I dunno, I kinda, liked it, I guess. Ooooh I have no clue really I just think it's cute for some reason, in a strange quiet way. Um, *starts to sweat* I suuuure hope you people have some good material for me after this. Or I'm gonna really look bad. Um, well, um, I also, um, like older Kazusa and Hijiri, *head hung so low it's brushing the floor* "oof, ooowww", I-I don't know why I like it, a clueless but warm and protective Hijiri in a brother sister relationship with a sweet somewhat crushing Kazusa. *weeps* my secrets totally out!! *wails* I also like OriyaxHisoka and OriyaxUkyo Okay I'm done!!!!

ME TOO Not as a serious, meant-to-be-together-FOREVAH pairing, but I think it has lots of potential for a bittersweet, short relationship. I liked Tsubaki. I thought she was a really interesting character- one minute she's treating Hisoka like a normal sixteen year old boy for probably the first time in his life/death, and the next she's able to overlook his murder because of her obsessive Muraki fangirling.
ME TOO Although I'm not exactly in the closet over this one, I think it's quite a logical pairing. I've had a few people on ff.net mention that they like the pairing, but it's rare, so it's probably not as weird as it seems.
This might be getting old, but ME TOO 
Other pairings that I usually stay in the closet about (except here, where I've mentioned them both at least once).. Tatsumi/Saya/Yuma. Slightly cracky, but I think it would be really sweet. I know people usually write Tatsumi as being very much in control over all his relationships, but he probably wouldn't have a chance against all the squishiness and girlyness here. I also like Muraki/Touda. There's absolutely no canon evidence for it, it would end with at least one of them killed in some horrible, horrible manner, and I've seen exactly one other person even think of this pairing.. but I still like it

not something I would like but I think they would turn up okay. Hisoka did feel something for Tsubaki. but I'm a yaoi fangirl ....... you know what I mean 
this would be my 4th fav pair. next to TsuzukixHisoka, MurakixHisoka (don't ask why I like this pair I don't know too ^_^') and HijirixHisoka (2 Hisoka's XD!) this pair might work. kinda like TsuzukixHisoka pair only this one is a more serious relationship which is good too. Tatsumi is very kind and is really very capable of taking care of Hisoka. Also I like the HijirixHisoka pair really make me drools over..... XD what? 1 Hisoka plus 1 Hisoka look alike equals KAWAII-NESS! |

Blaise you have just added another item to my closet. When I think of Yuma and Saya with another one of the Yami cast I usually think Watari. I think it would be so carefree giggly and fun, *inserts "kiss me" song here*. But I like the idea of Tatsumi being dragged into the two girls web as they are so good at ruffling him and surviving, I liked it when they were like pat me Tatsumi, it'd be so funny seeing Tatsumi frowning angry at their girlishness whilst holding in a fuzzy smile at how childlike and sweet they are. Plus it'd be fun just to see Tatsumi loosened up or put out of his death by these bubbly over the top fangirlish girls.
Omg, I have never even thought about that one. *sweatdrop* yeah, someone would defintely get hurt there, your right. *idea's start whirling* I suppose that's why people ship isn't it, to get a pairing into peoples head so they can find more fanwork on it. I don't think I've ever seen Muraki/ Touda. Maybe I should make a YnM rare pairings and lj community and link it here.
I haven't found anything on it though, but I like that idea a lot. Little love triangle there or secrect love affair.

Are you the only MurakixHisoka lover here, or are you closet, people always say there's a lot of twisted fans of this pairing but I think they're confused because there are hardly any. And any I do find, usually see the pairs relationship for what it is.
Oh Suzoka's so funny and cute. To be honest, I kinda like it to. It was nice seeing the two just hanging out together and sight seeing. I think they would make absolutey wicked friends! I wrote a small piece with them in it, but I don't know what happened to it? O.o I find the colour differences really change a lot about their looks for me. What a difference a pallete makes.
I am like that. If I find a character I particuarlly like. I will pretty much like them in any pairings, canon or fanon, simply because it's an interesting way of romantically exploring their character.
I'm a weakling for fighting pairs and rival pairs and such. *shakes head*

Yeah totally. I used to always flick back to that starting page. Like woh. I've read a fic about Muraki and his mother: Untitled Its NOT a closet pairing for me though. *shudders* heaven no! I have the feeling that if I found good SakixMuraki stuff, it would be a creepy and incestruous item at the back of my closet. Since I haven't I'm just, blah, on the pair. |

i believe I am. seems really ironic, since I love Hisoka then Muraki just creeps me out. hmm.... must be because I read to much yaoi manga. Yes, that must be it. I'm scared of what my fellow Hisoka fans thinks *sweadrops* usually Hisoka fans are Muraki haters or soo I think. as much as I hate Muraki for doing that to Hisoka, at the same time I'm grateful for what he did. if Muraki just killed him then and there he might not have become a shinigami and won't be able to meet Tsuzuki and a chance to have friends, better this that to be that snake god's vessel. <--- which is totally unrelated as to why I like the pair

??Ayah!! I'm not the only one who has a thing for HijirixHisoka!! YAYS!! I thought I was alone!!! It's like Twincest!! (or in Rhea-sama's wording, "fauxcest" XD)I know Rhea's gonna wanna hit me for this, but I like the idea of WatarixHijiri. It's kind of a strange combination, but I like the way Hijiri reacts to Watar's mad scientist antics. He's all O_o XD But he also protected Hijiri, which was something the everybody seems to have overlooked. I understand Rhea's thoughts on why they'd most likely think of eachother in a sibling-like sense, but my heart (nah, just my coceyed love of yaoi) says that they'd make a kawaii couple. ^^ |

I'm another Hisoka/Tsubaki person.
Hisoka is my favorite character and Muraki is one of my second favorite characters. I love seeing them interact, and the main place that happens is in Muraki/Hisoka fic. That's my intellectual interest in the pairing.... but I also have a kink. I am ashamed. |

It's true that Muraki seems to have some kind of odd affection for Hisoka but I also think he mostly hates Hisoka. Urk.... I really don't like the Muraki/Hisoka relationship at all because... well..... the man's a psycho!! He raped Hisoka at 13 and forced him to suffer for the three years up untill his death. I don't think there's a parson alive who could get away from that emotional scarring. In my mind, there's no room for arguement. Hisoka X Muraki is a big no go. Not hapnin'. ((sorry^^;; I'm very against it)) . But my mom's a huge Muraki X Tsuzuki fan^^;;
I really like the pairing of Hijiri with Hisoka though^^;; I'll have to write my own fanfic rather than reading all of Kaze's (they're just so damn addictive!!). The one that really caughtmy mind was Hisoka X Kijin. Think about it. The boy he could have been had he been normal. (I imagine that Rhea's seeing an angst^^;; "I hate you, Kijin!! If I had been like you, [b]not having these stupid powers, I would have at least had the love of my father!!"). Their fathers are so much alike that I'm guessing Hisoka and Kijin would probably look alike too if you screwed around with a few things. ((What's with me and twincest type things??^^;; )) But can humans actually be paired up with Shiki? I was guessing that they could because of how Suzaku feels for Tsuzuki. |

I can tell you one thing right now... NONE OF MY CLOSET PAIRINGS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH MURAKI. The b@stard's a f*cking @sswipe who should be humiliated out of his insane mind. Yes, in the manga, I'm actually able to sympathize with him some, but overall I can't forgive him for what he's done, especially to my Hisoka. Also, I can possibly like him in fanfiction if he's... characterized correctly (which generally means he has a human aspect to him, he doesn't end up getting Tsuzuki [because Tsuzuki is Hisoka's and vice versa], and if there's some sort of affection between Muraki and Oriya. In all of the fanfics where I can sympathize and tolerate the man, those three almost always inevitably show up... i.e. "Desires" by Lockehart, "Live Through" Trilogy by Kouri Arashi, and so on.
MuTsu and MuHis are big turn-offs for me. I think the only pairings other than MuOri I've willingly read were a TatMu story and TentaclemonsterMuraki story... and that's because he was raped in both of them (I'm a horrible person... I'd like Hisoka to rise above Muraki by learning to let go of his hate, but I don't hold that same ideal for myself...). As for closet pairings that I've read and mildly enjoyed (they can never be true like the TsuSoka pairing in my eyes): TatSoka WatSoka HijiSoka KijinSoka TeraSoka As you can see, they all deal with Hisoka. For some reason, I can't stand reading about Tsuzuki with someone other than Hisoka (even TatTsu turns me off... I guess they're okay... it's just I can't help but cringe whenever I think about them becoming a couple). So, yeah, I have a bias towards Hisoka. I could probably read him paired with almost anyone without cringing... except with Muraki, because that's just plain wrong. I wouldn't ship or love him with anyone else other than Tsuzuki, but I could possibly be entertained and read stories with him paired with other people. |

OUCH. You NO idea what that did to a Muraki fangirl like me. I literally felt a jab in my heart. But it's ok, ppl just have different tastes and I personally dislike Hisoka with Tsuzuki. I always get the feeling that it's just brotherly love going on here, or at least on Tsuzuki's side.

Tatsumi/Tatsumi. Yes, you read that right. But it's not what it looks like. I love it when I find fics where Tatsumi uses his shadow-magic to stimulate himself, even better when the shadows simulate a lover and pound him through the bed. And even though we know nothing about Tatsumi's teacher, I'm all for Sensei/Tatsumi. <33 |

Oh wow. Oh wow. I never thought about that?? Especially in light of Tatsumi's personality, I wonder what he's teacher would of been like, and whatever happened to him. Are there any fic's dealing with this subject. Oh yes, wtf, shadows and Tatsumi, that is beatiful crack, right there, I envy a mind that can create that. That's gonna be with me, for like, the whole evening, and possibly night, and probably forever lets just say. I never saw that one coming making this thread. Come on people, why has no one said MurakixWakaba (or have they?), and I think Yuma and Saya should be paired around a lot more, they're are such a cracked ray of sunshine on this show I adore them. I think that, in the manga [vol. 7], it is implied that Tatsumi's master has moved on ["There have only been practitioners of that mysterious technique in the Ministry of Hades." "You're well informed. The other one was my teacher." pg. 104], but I have an English translation, so the original may be different. I like the idea of him [her?] still being around.
