Heya everyone! Heya there! I just joined here (actually a week or two ago- but school problems and a really busy life kept me from sayin hi) and thought this place would be cool to hang out.
Anyways the name's Saku and I usually don't give up too much info on myself. Though I will say I'm in college and a female. Anything else about me you'll just hafta learn that I might give up as I'm talkin to people.
I happened upon Yami no Matsuei in a different way. I was reading a Yu Yu Hakusho fanfic by an author I loved and after I was done I went to see what else she had done- and saw Yami no Matsuei. At first I was kidna wondering about it but I read the story. And it got me so into it that I went out the next night and bought the 2nd DVD and fell in love with it the second I saw it.
And now I'm slowly getting the manga (the whole lack of money sucks). I've got up to like vol 3 and hoping to get 4 soon.
And I really like Tsuzuki on the show. ^_^ I acutally got rated as him on a livejournal rating community. Heh..Everyone that voted screamed how I was just like him. Though I'm wondering if that is a good thing... 
Anyways I just wanted to say heya to ya all! I have so few Yami no Matsuei friends. It seems like everyone that I know isn't into it. I only have one friend that is into it..*sniffs*

Never fear there are pleanty of YnM lovers here to keep you company!! I'm on the YnM community myself waiting to get stamped, so far I've had Tsuzuki and Hisoka, but I think it's going the Tsuzuki way, but yes I'm not sure myself if that is exactly a positive. Anyhow welcome to the board and hope you feel comfortable here.
There are many people that have read the manga further on so look out for spoilers if you don't want to know anything ahead of volume 3.

^^ i know exactly what you mean! I've been trying to hook my friends for months now! XD i did snag my best friend into it though.
With the Tsuzuki thing, It's a doubled edged sword. by definition Tsuzuki is a manic depressive attention whore. but he's also lovable and sweet at the same time. most of the time people only lable based on the jumpy excited, hyper happy side, and in that case it's a good thing. my friends and i base myself off of Tsuzuki as a whole. I have most of his qualities, but i also have all of his vices. *insecurity, need to constantly be reasured of friendship, easily depressed, easily hurt, hyper sensitive to others opinions. being outcasted and tormented as a small child and into adulthood, a lot of the same fears, sometimes wonders about being human, ect...* That's why i connected to him when i first saw it. kinda like the mangaka watched me grow up and changed the setting and gender. i still have trouble dealing with my own age group, which is why i tend to lose friends after they've turned twenty or so. the two relationship that i do have with people my own age are rocky at best, mostly because they view me as immature and selfish. they're not teenagers anymore so all the sudden i'm stupid, boring, and a big waste of their time. I'm there when they're bored and that's it.
but since we don't know anything like that about you it's probable that they judged you based on extiror. in which case it's a good thing.

Hi! Pleasure to meet you! Yeah not many people into YnM where i live either i had to show it to them but they aren't really into it either. sigh. oh,well. anyway, another college person. a lot of the fanfics i read and places i've been to for YnM seem to be college people....so how's college? i'm still in high school....

But thank you so much everyone for the super warm welcomes. Hopefully I will remember to stay active here when school starts. *crosses fingers* If not I blame any unlucky person that becomes my teacher.
