[edit] I posted these before they were able to be dedicated because I wanted to make sure it was okay with the person I was dedicating them to. She said it was okay, so I can now dedicate them.
These two poems are dedicated to Yami no Kaze. She is an angel inside and out, no matter what she says.
Mirror Image (Hisoka to Hijiri)
I see him, my mirror image,
staring back at me with a smile I could never return.
He's so much better than me, but he treats me as an equal,
showering me with an affection I could never have deserved.
How can he love me so, when I can’t even love myself?
He tells me he loves me….but can I trust him?
There were others who said the same and only took away
The frail heart I offered.
Despite the failures of the past, I feel I can trust him,
Even though common sense tells me otherwise.
I know I trust him, but is that my wishful heart calling out
for flaming failure once again?
I want to know, but there’s no guarantee.
For now, all I can do is follow to where my heart will lead
And give him the trust he asks for. Please, boy,
Mirror image of myself and everything I want to be,
Don’t hurt me
Mirror Image (Hijiri to Hisoka)
I see you, my mirror image,
Looking at me with eyes reflecting emeralds.
I see your fear of me clearly, but all I wish for is to love you.
I won’t ask for your body. I won’t ask for your heart,
Just as long as you let me protect you from the things that
Threaten to hurt you most.
I know that there have been times when life is not well,
But I want to be the one who makes you forget.
I want to bring you the joy that you have brought to me.
I love you with all of my heart and soul,
And swear on everything I believe in that I would never hurt you.
So please, even if you don’t really love me,
Just let me be close to you

It's beautiful. I love Hisoka's especially for some reason. (Because we all know he never smiles--that's why it took me the longest time to realize that 'Yes they really DO share the same face' XDDD)

Same here^^;; I was always thinking, "sure, they sorta look alike, but not really." up untill I really looked, then I was like O.O!!! They really dooo!!!!!!

I love the way you wrote the poems both in Hisoka and Hijri's perspectives. The imagery and language you used in here was so beautiful.
