Yet his as important to the plot as any of the main characters. That's right, you guesses it-

SAKI!!!

My main interest in Saki is finding out what he did to Muraki. If the lastest published issues of YnM in the Hana magazine have already revealed what Saki percifically did to Muraki then I guess this question doesn't apply to the people who have read it and know. Anyone who doesn't know, bring your theories here! If Yoko still hasn't revealed exactly what Saki done, all the better, everyone can theorize. Though this thread is just for Saki discussion in general, I thought I'd start off with this question.

but we do know that he killed Muraki's parents in the anime.. and book eight does tell about the 'incident'.. more in depth. ^^'

but really, the man is an enigma- we don't see him that much, nor hear/know about him that much, either. But in my mind, Saki is the basis of pretty much the start of Muraki's insanity.

Not like he wasn't twisted from the start, but meeting the bastard child of your biologocal father's gotta be pretty tough in a teenager's mind, no?

I didn't feel book eight gave any more information on Saki then the anime, I think it only confused things for me because it said that Saki HADN'T killed Muraki's mother, Muraki did.

I did read in a story once an idea that possibly Saki severly hurt Muraki's mother and Muraki finished her off, so Saki would have been responsible and Muraki actually the carrier of the act. Making both anime and manga linked.

The fact Saki looks like Hisoka and shares a bit of Hisoka's name always was weird for me. But other then that he IS an intriguing character and I just want to know others thoughts are on him.

Very much so. But I think that Muraki thinks that he inadvertently killed her- in a roundabout way, not a 'bang-I-shot-you' way. XP

And I was talking about the anime. XDD

*Nodnod* That's I always assumed. I'm not sre why I'm so certain that Muraki didn't literally kill his mother--it wouldn't seem out of character--but the other theory just feels right to me.

I remember seeing somethingl ike that from the anime, so that was the basis of my claims. But yeah- I had that theory in my head for a while. XD
