Well someone has to post it........

So come on, share your combinations, which YnM characters do you consider seme or uke with others, can't think of any off the top of my head so I'll do the easiest one,

Muraki would probably seme everyone

Tatsumi would seme Tsuzuki me thinks

I don't really believe in rigid 'Seme/Uke' roles. Most relashionships(gay and straight) have an amount of give and take and turn taking. It's more like a dance and the person who leads gets to swtich off--at least in my mind.

Actually, I also dislike the 'Seme/Uke' thing because of the steryotypes associated with each role, and authors tend to succumb to them--often without realizing it. It cheapens the story and degrades the quality in my view.

I'm much more interested in 'real' relashionships that have a varying and interesting dynamic.

Though Muraki would never submit to someone else... (Except for possibly Saki and or his mother in the past--doesn't anyone else get the creepy inscect vibes?) Though now that I think about it, he /may/ have also been more submissive to Oriya back in high school. Before he went psyco.

After that it's not so much placement or positioning in a relashionship as an expression of his power and control. (Both of which we know him to be obsessed with..)

I don't believe in seme/uke at all either. But it's a great subject of debate because you get all sorts of idea's from others, already you've come forward with an interesting and very good view.

Overall it's simply supposed to be a light hearted discussion, nothing serious, though serious thoughts and opinions are more then welcomed.

I think we might be part of a very small club since I've never met anyone else who thinks that. It might not be what Yoko was trying to put out, but there is defintely a vibe there O.o.

Eh, I like "uke" Tsuzuki most of the time. And since I like the pairing of him and Hisoka, that would make Soka-chan seme. But either way is fine with me because I just enjoy the two together. =3

Same goes for my little liking to Watari x Tatsumi. (I used to laugh at that pairing. X3) Though you'd picture Tats being seme, like hell Watari wouldn't want to have a turn at ruling over Tatsumi-san. >3

Really. Watari is way too independent to bottom all the time. I suspect it's about half and half with them. Probably some sort of organized method of turn taking set up by Tatsumi XD

Though, to be valid, this is another reason why I find myself straying far, far away from all fandoms. I prefer reality and satire. Really.

I'm another person who dislikes the concept of seme/uke roles. I think that in some relationships there may be a person who tops the majority of the time, but I don't hold to specified "roles."

I think that with Hisoka/Tsuzuki Hisoka would top most of the time. I stick to this opinion. I see Tsuzuki as on the bottom with Tatsumi too. With Muraki, that's a given, I think. The only person I can see Tsuzuki making a big deal out of top/bottom is Terazuma. The two of them are so competitive.

If Hisoka was in a sexual relationship with Tatsumi, I think Tatsumi would almost always top first starting out, but that would shift over time. Hisoka's too aggressive and desires control too much to stay on the bottom for long.

As for Watari and Tatsumi, I bet they switch off about 50/50.

I may be one of the few people who contemplate Muraki bottoming to Oriya. I'm not 100% certain, but I think I can see it.

I find it hard to imagine which way Watari could go, he seems more like he'd have more fun going upside down, rather then bottom or top.

Probably topping Tsuzuki on a drinking buddy day that went too far most likely. Hisoka and Watari, *giggles at mental images* I think he would top Hisoka just from the fact Hisoka would be so caught off guard at every juncture from unpredictable Watari, unless Watari felt bad and let the kid take charge or something. Top Terazuma because Terazuma would probably be too slow for Watari not to top. *wow Watari's mounting a lot of people in my twisted mind today* Muraki would be a power struggle, @__@, maybe Muraki would top through mind raping Watari about something, maybe Tatsumi or something. Oriya *__* it's just getting crakier and crackier now, I don't even know. *imagination breaking under pressure*

Sadly, my mind has lost the thought of Hisoka in anything but fluff... =x Weird.... (Hah, just as weird as my sudden love for Watari x Tatsumi...?? XD)

I always thought that Tsuzuki and Watari would be a fun couple. Aw, their dates would probably be so much fun to read about. X3

It's the Hijiri fan again^^ Guess who I'm gonna bring up^^;;

Hijiri or course^^ As some may have been able to tell from the latest inserts of Kaze and myself, we've been RPing and Ficcing as Hisoka and Hijiri a lot. In some ways, Hijiri is Seme, others Uke (though he seems to be mostly Seme at the moment^^; Wink

and the same with Hisoka. This is probably due to the fact that I have the same belief system as Rhea. Of course, it could also be the fact that the boys are bein played by two Semes^^;;

Hijiri and Watari is one that I've thought about before as well. As a younger person (Oi, pedifile much?) Hijiri would certainly be uke, but I imagine that once he got older, he'd eventually want to try tops. Same if he was paired with Tsuzuki. I cn't imagine him paired with Tatsumi due to the fact that the man feels more like an older brother than enything else at the moment^^;;

Soo...there's my Hijiri addition^^;; lol

I think that Enma would sooo let Tsuzuki seme him XD Though... according to Kaze, Hisoka's bigger than Tsu anyway, so I say the ultimate Seme is...... lol omfg, there is none. Muraki seme's Soka, Tsu seme's Mu (because that is Mu's fondest dream), and Soka seme's Tsu. Or.... my fangirl mind is runing away with me. I shall return once I clear my thoughts... I'm still stuck on something coco said XD;;;;;

*Hisoka is { face it girls} a man bitch. he is to pretty looking and frail.

*Watari: no he sure couldn't. He truly seems the part to be submissive. Just have sex with me type. a top notch sex addict.{ can't you see it}

*Tatsumi: I would also have to say no. only because he is very . How do i say this...unasure of things...He seems to be the type that holds back alot. Even if it is a desire he wants. Muraki would see this and use it against him. basically mind fuck Tatsumi to submission.

*Tsuzuki: I would say he is the closest. Muraki is utterly obsessed with him. be it his power, eyes, body, etc...

Tsuzuki would have an advanage in this case, but he doesn't. Muraki's quick wit of verbally molesting and playing with Tsuzuki's mind. Causes the Shinigami to go into a state of dull.{ another brain fuck if I may say.}

ok so that is what I think. That noone truly can. Muraki is just to slick for his own good.
