Thankfulthis is a thanksgiving fic i came up with yesterday but due do it being my sister's birthday i was unable to put it up i kind of edited it wuickly so there may still be some spelling mistakes. sorry but i wanted to put it up before tomorrow. i also wrote something i haven't written before a bit of fluff. so i'm not sure about it but i hope you enjoy.^^
"Awww. Come on, Tatsumi, it's an important holiday. It's right up there with Christmas and it's not like we're taking a day off or anything. We will still be here and everything just in case a case comes up." Tsuzuki pleaded. "I don't know. If we do this it's going to be very expensive and with all the damages Watari has done to his lab and the construction cost for the library that Tsuzuki partially destroyed last week." tatsumi said slowly trying to ignore the pleading looks from both Tsuzuki and Watari. They were both trying to convince him to do a Thanksgiving dinner for everyone.
"Ah, I promise to not cause further damge to my lab for the rest of the month." Watari said quickly. "And?" Tatsumi said "And uh, Watari said casting his mind around for something else he could do. "I promise not to spike anything in the break room for two months." Watari said looking hopefully at Tatsumi. "Three months" Tatsumi said. "Deal" Watari said happily there were other ways to test out his potions. "And what will you do for me Tsuzuki?" Tatsumi said looking to Tsuzuki. "Um" Tsuzuki began to look nervous. "Uh, i will finish all my paperwork." Tsuzuki said hopefully. "That will be fine. I will expect it all to be done by today." Tatsumi said "Today?" Tsuzuki reapeated looking fearful. "Yes, today Tsuzuki." Tatsumi said walking away. "What's wrong, Tsuzuki?" Watari asked noticing that Tsuzuki wasn't happy that they had gotten their way. "I don't know if I will be able to finish my paper work in time." Tsuzuki said quietly.
"Why not?" Watari said "I know you put off your paperwork but it shouldn't be that bad." Watari said trying to cheer Tsuzuki up. How wrong Watari was. Tsuzuki's paperwork resembled a small mountain. "Oh" was all Watari had to say. "Don't worry, Tsuzuki." he said resuming his cheery attitude. "I'll help you with some of it." "No Watari that's okay. I promised Tatsumi I would do my paperwork."Tsuzuki said resolutely sitting at his desk and beginning his paperwork. At that moment Hisoka walked in. "Watari I would check your lab if I were you I walked past it earlier and I heard strange noises." he said sitting down at his desk and doing his paperwork. "Ah, bye Tsuzuki." Watari said quickly as he rushed back to his lab.

"Tsuzuki its lunch time" Hisoka said looking at his partner. It was kind of strange seeing him do his paperwork. Most of the time he would be doing other things like bothering him or sleeping. It was also strange that he hadn't been the one to mention lunch. Usually he was the one to interupt Hisoka while he was working and drag him off to lunch. Is the Thanksgiving dinner really that important? Hisoka thought to himself. Tsuzuki finally looked up. "It's lunck time, baka." Hisoka said.
"Oh." Tsuzuki said going back to his paperwork. "You go on." he said not even looking up. "I got to finish my paperwork by today". This was definitely not like Tsuzuki. Hisoka sat back down. "Is this thanksgiving dinner really all that important?' Hisoka asked confused he really didn't see why he thought it was important. It was just food right? Tsuzuki stopped his paperwork and looked up. "Of course it is. Hisoka. It's the time you spend with family and give thanks for what you have." Hisoka looked even more confused. 'Family?" He said. "Yeah" Tsuzuki said. Hisoka looked thoughtful after that. Tsuzuki looked concernedly at hisoka afraid he had upset him. Considering hisoka's family had treated him badly maybe he shouldn't have said anything.
Maybe he had reminded him of that.Tsuzuki watched as Hisoka got up and started taking some of the paperwork from Tsuzuki's pile. "Hisoka what are-" Tsuzuki started. "Tatsumi said you had to finish the paperwork right?" Hisoka asked. Tsuzuki nodded confused. "He never said you couldn't have help finishing it right?" Tsuzuki nodded again this time with a smiled on his face as he got back to work.

The Thanksgiving dinner went very well. Everyone had a great time and got extremely stuffed. They even managed to get Tatsumi drunk. As Tsuzuki and Hisoka walked home together. Tsuzuki turned to Hisoka and asked "What are you thankful for?" Hisoka looked at him then looked straight ahead. Tsuzuki thought he wasn't going to answer his question but then he heard him whisper. "I am thankful for you."Tsuzuki smiled and put his arm around Hisoka and whispered in his ear. "I am thankful for you too."
