Did you ever notice the fact that on page 15 of volume 3 there are Final Fantasy Characters in the background? Kaze told me about it and I was all Oo... really? It's true! XD Look!!! It's so funny!! There's Cloud and Tifa behind Tsuzuki, Vincent between Tsuzuki and Hisoka, and red 13, and Kait sith on his mog behind Hisoka. I nearly fainted whn I saw it. It's too much xDDDD

I recently noticed in volume 4 where Tsuzuki talked about beating the crap out of Muraki in the next panel Muraki sneezes and a nurse asked if he was getting a cold. I read that manga god knows how many times so I can't believe that I missed it.

Hisoka's style changes, I think. from book two, to book seven/eight, I think it changes.

and in the anime, I'm pretty sure that Tatsumi doesn't wear the same clothes, like the two suits. does he? I don't think so..? XD

(AND OMG THEY DO HAVE FF7 CHARACTERS. AND BARRET IS LIKE. THE BEST GUY. XD)

I've heard about the FF7 crowd appearing in one of the volumes of YnM, but I'm not familar with that game/anime so I can't say that I would recognize them.

I love the clothes Hisoka wore in the manga and I really wished that he could have worn them in the anime. The shirt he wore in there was pretty nice with the exception of the color. Why did they feel the need to make his shirt orange?

Some of the books Hisoka read in the manga were interesting choices. In volume 4 he had Edda, which is about Norse mythology. In the side story 'The Kids and I' Hisoka's reading Beneath the Wheel by Hermann Hesse and in the character profiles, Hisoka has a copy of Hamlet. I wonder if Yoko Matsushita had some purpose for Hisoka to be reading those books or if she was simply showing that Hisoka has a wide range of interest in books.

I dunno... In theory orange is supposed to be flattering on blonds, but I dunno ... Maybe Hisoka just... doesn't have the right... color blond? xDD

My favorite was the jacket in the Devil's Trill--which was lifted from the manga I think--and that green shirt from the King of Swords/Queen Camellia arc. Yum.

That is one of my favorite pictures of Watari though. *drool* And in the bookworld he *does* modify the Butler's gun so that it's more powerful...

Perhaps it is a hidden skill? (Maybe Watari made the gun that the chief gave Hisoka/the one Hisoka has in the anime!!)

It would be quite something if he did give Hisoka the gun in the anime. Yoko Matsushita did mention that Watari can be scarier (is that a word?) then Tatsumi when he's mad.

Ooohs, I love the pinkhouse jacket on Hisoka too. Do you think that Hisoka reads all those books to learn something? Or would that just be too Watari-ish? I love how in the character profiles, 003 is in nearly every pic. She isn't in with Tatsumi and she isn't in with Muraki (she'd prolly try to peck his eye out or something^^;; ) And I wanna be like Watariiiii... He's definitly the kind of person I'd wanna be friends with^^

I've always wondered. as OCC as it would be, I've always been curious to see if Tsuzuki rubbed off on him.

it'd be something, if Hisoka had comics / manga stuck between the pages of his serious books. XDDDDDDDDD

I think it would be adorable if Hisoka read manga. It's good that the boy is an avid reader, but it would be good for him to read something a little lighter.

Ohhhh :O My favorite outfit of Hisoka's (since we're...mentioning that) is in volume four when he's "spying" on Terazuma. <3<3 (He's wearing it before that, but you can really see it better at that part.) I also liked the way Tatsumi was dressed in that chapter. =D And the one before that. >3 (No clothes in the hot springs, please! <3)

I never noticed it before, but in volume 9, page 16, Terazuma randomly disappears. I just realized where he was XD

I noticed in the anime a lot there was many mistakes.

While they were visiting Maria Wong, the doorknob was round, but when Hisoka touched it, it was a handle instead XD

Oh!

And for some reason Tsuzuki lost his sunglasses while Wakaba bought him the cinnabon.

And while Muraki had him captured in the Pentagram thinger, Tsuzuki's hands weren't tied together at all, but seconds later there were vines holding his wrists together :3;;;;

Bah. It makes me laugh.

I have also been a victim of flops in the anime

some scenes I have noticed:

* In the very first scene with Tsuzuki and Kannuki. At first he has a note book and his sun glasses on, but when he gets his cinnbon they are sudden gone O_o

* or when Muraki and Tsuzuki meet again at the park where the little girl faints. When Tsuzuki is waiting for Muraki to come out of the shelter and introduce himself to Tsuzuki. the shinigami is sitting on a bench with his coat next to him. the next scene he is seen with no coat at all. { he must of been really nerves around the doctor to forget his coat on the bench } O_o

* or when Hisoka wins the poker game from Muraki. the cards where there one moment then they just disappeared. O_o

* or the cammilla flower that wasn't there when Tsubaki was shot in the back by Muraki but again appeared when Muraki pulled it out from her breast. O_o

I have to watch it again to see if I can find any more. I'm sure there is a lot of them I missed.

I was watching the 4th arc last night and I notice that after Hisoka dropped the bag of groceries when he saw Muraki the bag disappeared in the next scene.

When I go up to ask him what had happened to the blood stain on his jacket. He simply replies

“What blood?” and smiles as he walks away.

Maybe it was on this forum, but someone commented on how Tsuzuki's messenger bird in the Nagasaki arc had purple eyes and I checked it out and they're right. I never noticed that before. I wonder if it has purple eyes because it comes from Tsuzuki's powers.

I never thought about this before, but in the manga Hisoka's the only character who has his clothes consistly changing. Tsuzuki, Tatsumi and Konoe usually wear the same suits, while Watari wears his lab coat. Saya and Yuma wear those Pink House clothes and Wakaba wears her school uniform. Hisoka is the only one who doesn't have one outfit that he usually wears (except in the anime). I love Hisoka's clothes, but I do wonder why he's the only one to get a wardrobe change in every volume.

Perhaps he has an obsessive impulsive disorder of changing clothes often. Or maybe he just is not comfortable enough in his own skin and continuously has to change in order to feel somewhat right about himself. a reassurance maybe. Being that he was an abused child it could be a plausible reason.

lol I like he obsessive compulsive theory. Doesn't yoko point out in volume 9 that Hisoka's slightly obsessive compulsive? When Tsuzuki's telling him about the different kinds of Shiki?

Yeah, one of the volumes did say Hisoka had oc. I think that's pretty fitting for his character.
