I think so, and I don't mean simply because they're "leftover" without anyone either. (People who pair up characters with that sort of reasoning in mind annoy me..)

I had thought that right when I was new to YnM.... So I didn't like them paired up much. But as I continued reading, I started to see it. =3

I always remember in volume 9, after the party, how Tatsumi and Watari were seated in front of the car with Hisoka and Tsuzuki in the back... X3 I dunno, I just really loved that.

EDIT: Oh yeah, rock on Watari x Tatsumi. =OOO (me~ow!)

In volume 11 at the Kurosaki place, after Tatsumi nearly drowns, after he's all changed and stuff, Watari is drying off his hair. (It's really, really subtle. I didn't catch it the first five times I read it XDD) We all know how independent and non-touchy-feely Tatsumi is, so I find it cute x3 Somehow I imagine Watari made the tea for him too. Fufufufufu~!

You know what I wanna read of these two? A friggin' kitty fic. Watari thinks he's got it, the sex changing potion! Finally! Drinks it.... ~poof~ Kitty Watari. (Oh, noes, wrong again.)

Come on, Watari would make such a cute orange/yellow-ish kitty cat. With wittle white paws and tip of the tail. I don't know how, but I'd want it to end up where Tatsumi has to take home the lost kitty of the Ministry.

I'm a suckah for kitty fics... =P

EDIT: Oh yeah... <3 Those two were the only joy I found in the last volume. =(

Anyone ever notice how Watari's hand latches on to Tatsumi in the hotsprings when the animals are trying to figure out what they are? XDD

And I never noticed the subtext of this this panel until I saw (Kaze's) pictures using it. I.. feel like such a fool! (Love that piccy Kaze :'D) I guess I was distracted by all the Tsusokaness going on at that point XDD

This really reminds me of a pairing from another series that a fanfic got me into. Because after I got into it, I started noticing all sorts of evidence for it.

before I started reading any other pairings, I never really thought there was anyone better for Watari than Tatsumi and no one better for Tatsumi than Watari. It just seemed right. And I'm not really into Tatsoka or Hitari or anything. I guess I'm too plain and am just into cannon pairings. (though yes, I love Hisojiri). I think that Tatsumi's seriousness is just enough to put a reign on Watari's insanity and Watari's insanity is plenty to keep Tatsumi's (after)life interesting.

Haha, yes exactly! Watari and Tatsumi balance each other out. I never liked Tsuzuki/ Hijiri, never ever, but I do think Hisojiri is sort of cute. But I ship Tsusoka! All the way. Well, AFTER Tatwat...=^^= But I still ship it.
Tatsoka would be...sort of strange, but Hitari actually makes a bit of sense. I don't ship it....but I get it.
