A.C. 175
Colony leader Heero Yuy was assasinated, beginning the colonists hatred for the earth that led to operation Meteor. This explains why the colonies initially supported OZ in their coup d'etat.
A.C. 195
OZ begins its takeover of the UESA and the five gundam pilots were made out to be traitors. Despite this, the pilots continued waging their battle in the midst of constant governmental flux.
Treize Kushrenada had a falling out with Romfeller leadership and split from OZ. Because he was so popular amongst the OZ soldiers, Treize took most of his personnal with him. Foundation leader Duke Dermail launched Operation Nova, sending hundreds of MD (Mobile Dolls) to eradicate Treize and his followers.
During this time, Relena Peacecraft rebuilt the Sanc Kingdom, but little did she know that this was part of Dermail's plan.
Artemis Revolution
A.C. 195
Treize returned o the Romfeller foundation and took control of the Earth nations, amassing his forces to fight the White Fang threat. The human race was about to launch the biggest war the world had ever known.
After the death of Minister Darlian, Relena went back to restore the Sanc Kingdom. She presented her case to Duke Dermail who explained to her that the divided nations were the cause of war. Relena agreed to Dermail's plan for a "Worl Nation" and she was crowned the Queen. Despite her good intentions, she became a puppet of the Romfeller Foundation, even as she preached her pacifist message.
Meanwhile, in space, colonial militants formed an orgnization to strike back against OZ's oppression. Calling themselves "White Fang," they declared the "Artemis Revolution." Millardo Peacecraft, formerly the ace OZ pilot Zechs Marquise, joined White Fang and led their forces. His plan: to bring peace by destroying the Earth entirely. To accomplish this, they built the space battleship Libra. The Gundam pilots now faced a new enemy. |

Earth Sphere United Nation
A.C. 195
In order to prevent all out war between the earth and the colonies, Treize, once again the leader of OZ, challenged Zechs to a duel, but the White Fang leader refused. Treize ordered his men to attack Libra, but was then killed in a duel with Chang Wufei. Earth declared defeat, but Quinze still believed that the Earth should be punished.
As the Libra's cannon was wiped out when Zechs rammed it, Quinze set the battleship on a collision course with Earth.
Heero and his Wing Gundam were the only hope to save Earth, but before he could stop Libra, he was forced to stop Zechs and Gundam Epyon. Zechs claimed the only way to end warfare was to either destroy all weapons or kill the desire to fight by showing the full destructive power of war. Heero could not allow peace to come at such a price. The ensuing battle and subsequent destruction of Libra opened up a doorway to a new era of peace. The Earth Sphere United Nation brought lasting order by giving the Earth nations and the orbital colonies an equal voice. |
