Watari's my favorite character... at least I wanted to say so. He was the first one in manga in whom I (figural) fell in love. For a long time I didn't understand it - his type irritates me. He smiles too much, he laughs too much, he's too active, to cheerful. He is a character who'd combined all the temperament I... no, not hate... dislike and don't understand. I can't understand these open-hearted people - the world is mean, it'll kill you if you will be so unwary heedless. But a few months ago I've understood why I like him so much.
Let's look at the others.
Tsuzuki. Oh, poor half-demon boy, he's so kind and sweet, but the big bad wolf maniac wants to kill him, he is so poor... let's pity him!
Hisoka. Oh, gosh, a poor kid, the big bad maniac had raped him, and killed him, and he's so young, poor empathic, he feels everyone, he must be hurt... let's pity him!
Tatsumi. Such a dark soul, but we know he has his own demons. Such a story with his mother, he is in such love with Tsuzuki and he's sacrificing himself Tsuzuki to be happy... let's pity him!
Warati.  ................................... 
I mean, he'd never annoyed anyone with those dull-sad-stories. He just lives and enjoys this. I think, I respect him for that.
