Actually, the reason why I always liked the idea of Hisoka being the uke is because he's so obsessed about power and being in control that its unhealthy. Letting himself being in a position like that may show him that its not always bad not being in control.

Actually, I do think that Tsuzuki and Hisoka can have a healthy sex life, but they'd have to overcome a LOT of personal shit first on both sides. I do think that it can be gratifying, I just can't see them doin' the nasty every night. I once read a fanfiction where every single day, Tsuzuki and Hisoka had sex. Whatever happened to lovers just being content sleeping next to each other, and not just sleeping WITH each other?

But I agree, sex would be an important part of their relationship, actually I think it would be more important than in other relationships with 'normal' people, you know.

Anyways, I agree with both Laustic and Veleda, but you have to realize, Tsuzuki and Hisoka both have times where they are dominant and submissive.

For example, Tsuzuki would probably be content being on the bottom given his general personality, his need for love, his fear of hurting Hisoka or bringing back bad memeories, and the fact that it would be making Hisoka happy. However, I think Tsuzuki definetely has his more aggressive moments. Whenever he's angry or someone he loves is threatened, his submissive turns to brutal dominance. Plus, he also has the slightest hint of a darker personality. While I do think he would be content on the bottom, I think he'd also be content being on top at times. Like, say after an adrenaline rush, caffine rush, or anger rush.

Hisoka probably would be happy being on top most of the time, given his need for dominance and control and power, and his aversion and issues with being on the bottom. However, I also agree partially with Laustic. Letting him be on the bottom may show Hisoka that he doesn't always have to be on the offensive or in control of everything. Plus, who said you couldn't be in control and on the bottom as well? Wink

Also, here's an interesting thought: Hisoka had such a horrible time being forced to submit to his rapist, I think that maybe Hisoka might subconsciously like having someone he can trust and love unconditionally top him, so Hisoka could finally feel comfortable submitting and not violated and hurt. While it may take a long time for Hisoka to feel secure enough to bottom in bed, Hisoka might actually feel like he can beat Muraki when he can submit himself to Tsuzuki without fear.

What I'm trying to say here, in a way, is that Hisoka might actually find some POWER in submitting to Tsuzuki and enjoying himself, since, in a way, he's showing Muraki that he can overcome the hurdles of what he did to him and, esentially, surpass Muraki himself.

If I were to say a short piece.

With Tsuzuki and Hisoka and sex I always imagined that Hisoka's character would be in full swing of trying to be dominant and seme-ish, as despite being forced into ukism by circumstances out of his control his natural personality defines him as a seme.
The problem would be I think that in the process he'd probably become vulnerable and not know what to do or how to act, then there's all the emotions and confusion and issues, @_@ and in the end he'd have to rely on Tsuzuki which illiterates laustic's point, he'd have to learn to stop being power hungry, and stop attempting to control and prove independence and maturity, he'd have to learn to trust and lean on someone else without feelings of immaturity, low self-worth and dependence, and I think Tsuzuki could teach him that.

Afterwards depending on any given situation Tsuzuki and Hisoka could easily switch between seme and uke, as we've seen Tsuzuki flow right into serious get control of situation mode at the drop of a hat, and we all know Hisoka's fiesty. We all know Tsuzuki can be angsty and weepy, a giver (as Veleda puts it) and in need of reassurance, and Hisoka is still young in comparison to Tsuzuki and we all know he NEEDS comfort to relax, be loved and just let be.

Another thing as well is, I think people can act differently in bed, someone who is usually quiet may find themselves talking a lot, and someone who is usually dominant might want to give up that aspect of themselves and be submissive during sex. So Tsuzuki and Hisoka and sex??-well who knows, could be anything. *shrug*

This is something that can go anywhere but I'll just throw it here, I can see characters doing many different contradictory actions, in one fic I read Hisoka was (don't know how else to put it) coming on to Tsuzuki and initating the relationship, in another fic it was Tsuzuki, yet I found both fic's believable because the actions were backed up by suffiecent motivations and were presented very well. There isn't just one road to any given circumstance. I may be a law abiding citizen but I might steal if given a reason to.

Anyway back to sex, I love whispers of a ghosts idea about Hisoka feeling power being bottoming Tsuzuki as a way of overcoming Muraki, I have actually read a similar idea in a Tsusoka fanfic that done that well actually so it's quite cool you wrote that.

Which JUST NOW made me think of something I read on Katcom about the fact there is power in being submissive, it was really interesting.

Anyway what do I know about sex *rolls eyes*
